Research
Researching the systems that make AI useful in the real world.
Research themes
Questions that can improve the products.
01
Agent systems and orchestration
How should a system turn an ambiguous request into a plan, select tools, handle dependencies, and recover when part of a task fails?
02
Personal context and memory
How can a system retain useful preferences and project context without accumulating noise, and how should that memory be inspected, corrected, and deleted?
03
Reliable tool use and execution
How can an agent tell the difference between attempting an action and confirming that it succeeded?
04
Structured business interfaces and agentic commerce
How can capabilities such as product lookup, availability, order creation, and status tracking be exposed to AI systems with clear permissions and reliable outcomes?
05
Cost-efficient AI systems
How should work be routed between models, tools, and conventional software to balance quality, latency, and cost?
06
AI for real business conditions
How can AI products operate usefully amid uneven data quality, mixed digital and offline workflows, price changes, and varied connectivity?
Research approach
Transparent about what was tested and what it shows.
Research content is transparent about what was tested, which models and data were used where appropriate, the limits of the setup, and what the results do and do not demonstrate. Claims are reproducible where practical and privacy-safe by design.
DBMansion Labs does not claim to train a frontier foundation model. Until foundation-model research is genuinely underway, the focus remains on systems research and engineering questions connected to the product portfolio.
Publications and technical notes
Work in progress.
Research at DBMansion Labs is developing around the practical systems behind reliable AI action. Technical notes and evaluations will be published here as work becomes ready to share.
When available, this section will feature research notes, engineering deep dives, experiments and evaluation reports, product architecture articles, and reproducible benchmarks.
Collaboration
